Amani, a 17 Months Old Palestinian Girl Threatens the Israeli Security!

Amani, a 1.5 years old Palestinian girl lies in the IC unit in the Maqasid Alkhayriya hospital in Jerusalem, still astonished and terrified, with bandages tubes and wires covering her beautiful tiny face, and surrounded with all kinds of sophisticated hospital equipments.

Her mother says sarcastically that Amani is the biggest threat to the Israeli security, otherwise no Israeli military jeep would stop next to her and shoot her in the head in cold blood!!

Her father feels more anger and pain because he thinks that he wasn’t able to protect her when she needed protection, then he adds that there is no force in the world that can uproot us from our land, and exclaims wondering why do the Israelis shoot infants?

He says that when the shooting started they were on their way to a doctor to treat Amani and her brother Mahmoud (10) who were hurt as a result of inhaling gases from the Israeli gas bombs, when a military jeep stopped near them and the soldiers started shooting at them, injuring Amani, her mother and brother.

The doctors say that Amani was lucky for the bullet did not penetrate her brain but she still needs a lot of treatment and still in serious condition.

We tried to pat on her face but the only sound we could hear was her moaning.
