Israeli shelling killed a fetus in his mother's womb in Gaza, and injured the mother critically.
 
The Palestinian mother, Jehan Isma'aeel Kannan, 20 years old, was inside her house when the Israeli army fired a rocket at her house from a nearby settlement.  The mother was hit by the rocket that entered her house, and was almost killed.  She was rushed to an emergency room, where they found the fetus' hand was cut and the leg was broken.  The mother went a 3 hours emergency surgery, where they were able to save her life, but the life of her fetus.
