Palestinian Leadership Statement
This morning, the national leader Abu Ali Mustafa, Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, was martyred. At 11:15 am today 27 August, an Israeli Apache gunship fired two missiles at the office of the late Abu Ali Mustafa in Al-Bireh. One of the missiles was fired from the East and the other from the West. The attack instantly killed the late leader and injured ten civilians.
The Israeli "Security" Cabinet ordered this criminal aggression last night, which provides further evidence that the Israeli government is continuing its aggressive plan against our People, its leadership, and institutions. This continued aggression is a futile Israeli attempt to weaken the resolve and persistence of the Palestinian People to resist the Israeli aggression and achieve its national goals in establishing an independent state with Holy Jerusalem as its capital.
With its latest criminal act, the Israeli government confirms that it has decided to open the doors of its comprehensive war wide open. This war obviously lacks restraint and any red lines.
